VIP Dog Sports is a dog training company that is new to the area of upstate South Carolina. Although the company and name are new to the area, we are not new to dog training. We recently relocated to South Carolina from Colorado where we owned and operated an indoor/outdoor training facility under the name of Friendship Academy. This business was passed down to a client that has been mentored by us for the past 6 years and we will continue to assist in it’s success for as long as we can!
You might wonder why we would pack up and move. Well, having been on the eastern plains of Colorado for 18 years, we were ready to make a change. When we visited South Carolina, we fell in love. Purchasing our dream house in Central, South Carolina is only the tip of the iceberg for us. We plan to rebuild our training business and in addition, we plan to build an Indoor, climate controlled, turfed Sports Arena. Our plan is to host many dog events including our own personal love, dog agility. Our hopes for the facility include a kitchen, training rooms, showers for overnight guests, rv hookups, outdoor fenced areas for the dogs, a classroom to accommodate seminars and a private room to be used for scoring events.
We realize that these dreams will take time, so meanwhile we are starting our training business in our on-site training facility that features an indoor climate-controlled training space with matting and an outdoor fenced agility ring for our advanced agility students.
